Beat goes on En Santiago De Chile on Madonnas Sticky and Sweet Tour. Amazing number of female fans in Santiago.
Some clergy man needs to express: "Lustful Madonna offends god".
Today November 7th 2008 is the time of the official release of Grace Jones new album 'Hurricane'.
Yes, you can take it for granted that people would talk behind your back about you if you had told them that the upcoming financial crisis had or has or will have something to do with a kind of unhappy love story of a certain George with a certain Katrina, oh yes, you bet.
Politicians are responsible people, well, at least should be. Or they are made responsible for ... kind of everything that happens in the time of their 'popularity'.
Proper and exact science (whatever that is) tells us, that the ongoings in the sky, in the weather, the way how the birds fly, how bowels look like (ehem, remember the ancient greeks etc.) have nothing to do with the practical happenings on our earth. Hm, the idea of the 'butterfly effect' teaches us something different. Nevertheless ...
Once we experience to be in the middle of a 'turmoil', when things get turned upside down and/or inside out ... minds can tell us something completely different.
On the other side (which side?): Some things don't change: The poor stay poor. And more and more people become poor. Who cares? You tell!
Are we flooded with paper money that's actually not worth ANYTHING? Does this money just live by the power we give it through believing in it?
Project BlueBird produced a video on 'George and Katrina'. A video in the spiritual tradition of the late 60ies when people DID GO unto the streets and to Washinton to PROTEST against the war in Vietnam. Are wars so easy to forget, Napalm etc.?
The song 'Stop crying your heart out' of Oasis offers some kind of reflections on the 'BUTTERFLY EFFECT'. I've assembled a playlist here where you can see some videos on this subject.
The following pics give you some glimpses into the video down below. I don't know what to exactly call this kind of art. Is it gymnastics, break dance, ballet or some kind of extreme aerobic? You might know. Last time I saw such a performance was in the Circus, hm, China something ... NO, now I remember Africa, Africa of Andre Heller in Munic last November or December (2007) or so. Yes, was kind of phantastic, like this performance here.
And in the following picture you might give me pardon for doing a little trick. Hehe.
Are the US elections a comedy?
"It has become depressingly apparent that no leadership, no guidance, no inspiration will be forthcoming from any of the traditional sources in our society. Our politicians are locked in partisan bickering with each other, fighting like junkyard dogs over scraps. Our financial leaders are in a tailspin. Our heroes are largely fictional now at best".
(From War against Despair of Christopher Spenn).
It really pays to pay attention to our kids, to spend time with them. It IS rewarding. The rewards of our love-pouring into them might not show up immediately, however one day they will show up.
So get inspired for having children. Yes, they scream too sometimes and can get nervy. Well, to have children and to bring them up is one of the most exciting experiences one can have.
What is blogging? What are blogs? Here is a video which does some explanation. Setting up a blog is not difficult nowadays. Get a Gmail account and start blogging at blogger.com. The fun part after you have done this is to connect with other people (make friends worldwide) in the various networks. Feel free to ask! Welcome to the blogger community!
There are three things my ears do remember from their earliest childhood: a tube radio ('RöhrenRadio') and the singing and harmonica playing of my mother. She taught me how to play the harmonica and pretty soon I learned the hits from the twenties and thirties.
Here now, Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you some artists ('stars') of the harmonica (it's a playlist of videos which I will continuall feed). If you have suggestions on how to increase this list, please leave a comment.
Thank you.
And now, make yourself comfortable and enjoy.
Your ears may bless you. :)
In sticking to the topic 'Ergasmus' (Erasmus + Orgasmus), this fall of 2008 we are facing two big (giant, huge) nations, one facing a 'CLIMAX', a victory, the other one a huge frustration.
After years of hard work, after a successfully organized and realized olympic game the Socialist Peoples Republic of China managed to send their first Astronauts into space.
I'd like to share with you this video. Actually I'm not much into the UFO stuff, however I personally had some 'sightings' that I could and can not explain. Family members and friends too. I usually explain it to myself with some military experiments going on around the world and doubt the origin of these phenomenons being some kind of visits from another star, or so.
So I consider the following video to be just 'entertaining'. Thanks to the makers thereoff.
In order to get more feeling for the 'ergasmus-expressions' of our souls, here's a hint to certain Indian music. Just like photos, music can paint a better picture or tell a better story than just words.
Thanks Rhongo for sending this video. Well we had a short discussion concerning this video which led to philosophies about ... hm, power ... ehem, to be ecact 'definition power' in German: 'DefinitionsMacht' which I ran across at Ulrich Beck the German sociologist ...
Like the previous video, my advice for this one is also:
"If ye know these things, happy are ye, if ye do them".
(It sounds like it's supposed to sound: a bit King James English :)
Just for the case that you might feel a little bit stiff at the moment, take this practical advice to ... maybe ... dance a bit, even just for yourselves.
The short film 'Delivery' of Till Nowak
8.44 minutes of your future or some kind of animosity against industrialism?
How to plant (substitute) a new kind of world / earth, maybe?
Is the box maybe something like our heart?
Delivered by whom?
Who is the postman?
One man's / woman's history might be anothers fiction. And reverse.
You hold unto the things you want to hold on to. And the so called 'rational mind', which should be responsible for such things like scientific approaches ... tends to be just a slave of your more or less conscious will and faith (belief).
In trying to approach myself to the subject (trying to find access to): 'the great arcanum' I made the following slide show, which will be the first one of a series on this blog.
Enjoy.
Beginning on June 15th 2008 Lady Yoko Ono will publish a daily 'acorn' for 100 days at her newly opened 100acorns - Blog.
40 years ago, on June 15th of this magical year 1968, she and John Lennon planted two acorns for peace at Coventry Cathedral ('Acorn event').
The inspiration to make this post came from the following video: STAND UP
The Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq (OWFI) condemns the killings of women in Basra and Umara and calls for women's protection services.
A portal on women, peace and security
Here it is one aim to provide information to encourage researchers, policy makers, analysts and NGOs so they can routinely include, seek and contribute more information and analysis on women, war and peace.
Some subjects are:
* Peace-building and conflict resolution initiatives
* Reconciliation mechanisms
* Increasing access to justice
* Access to support services
* Conflict monitoring systems
Women are relevant to negotiating peace agreements, planning refugee camps and peacekeeping operations and reconstructing war-torn societies.
Resolution 1325 (2000) holds out a promise to women across the globe that their rights will be protected and that barriers to their equal participation and full involvement in the maintenance and promotion of sustainable peace will be removed. We must uphold this promise. See the UN Security Council Documents
"By establishing the Commission, Member States of the United Nations have created an important new structure to support fragile societies recovering from the devastation of war."
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, 27 June 2007

There is not a single country in the world that is free from violence against women. The vision of the Gender, Peace and Security Programme is to promote gender equality and women’s full and equal participation in the realms of peacekeeping, peace processes, post-conflict reconstruction and the reform of security institutions.
The International Crisis Group (Crisis Group) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation covering over 60 crisis-affected countries and territories across four continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict. There are particular human rights for children:
According to The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF): "Human rights are those rights which are essential to live as human beings – basic standards without which people cannot survive and develop in dignity. They are inherent to the human person, inalienable and universal."
Sexual violence, thus meaning violent acts against the sexual integrity of a person, encompasses the following: rape, sexual advances, sexual harassment, demanding sex for favors, forced cohabitation, marriage of children ...
Sexual violence is rooted in discrimination. A discrimination that denies persons equal rights and involves the denial of basic social rights. Sexual violence uses other persons just for individual gratification or profits.
Sexual violence violates itself human rights standards and can be considered a crime against humanity. Child Sexual Abuse IS a Human Rights Issue.
Yes, robots are coming and some are here already. Oh joyful engineering.
Will humans be 'left overs'? Just imitating machines?
A short history timeline of Robots and a visual journal concerning the history of Robotics.
Can you be 100 % sure, that this blog isn't done by a robot?
A hint: just scan for foolishness.

Here, a recent interview with Joni Mitchell, representing some of her work. You might like to listen to 'A case of you'?
Well, before the time, that, people would continually look at screens, there were some, that would take time to watch the ducks on a pond, for example. Or their mind would be free enough to remember ... some good things, some good people, ... some nice woman or man.
Ok, put on your magic boots and let's take a step into a world, thats out or in somewhere.
Still, it can be discovered.
If you are somehow critical of civilisation (especially the western one) and are not too fond of new hype technologies (that we need so badly), you must not consider yourself as being a person who some might call 'GREEN ANARCHIST'.
However it might be worth a look to see what 'green anarchism' or 'GREEN ANARCHY' is and how it is defined, so that you won't end up as an entry (as a prisoner) in the ANARCHOPEDIA :-)
In the following video you can get the point of both sides:
--- Brutal industrialisation, civilisation
for the wealth and health of all
OR / AND
--- Activism (green anarchy) to preserve, and conserve the environment
for the wealth and health of all.

Looking for Tantra? Hm, hm. Well, there are challenges and implications for contemporary Buddhist Women to transmit the Buddha Dharma across time and place. Across the cultures Buddist Women achieve new roles and opportunities. In the dance of the Yogini you find images of aggression in Tantric Buddhism.
You might be interested to get more information on living and dying in Buddhism, but maybe see this video in before, because it will give you a taste for life.
Concerning the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Educational Systems, Tibetan Buddhism and Dharma Teachers, further in finding the right meditation center, and deeper infos on various traditions you might need some help.
Women practising Buddhism can do this in workshops or reflect in feminist interpretations of Buddhist philosophy and practise, for example in honour of the dakini.
Dakini was/is an important image of Female Power in Buddhism, kind of an advanced spirit or spiritual being. Dakini moves in a fundamental freedom which is so spacious in its emptiness, that it is like space or sky.
The video above is worth a second look. It's one of the best videos on buddhist dance on youtube.
